As our tourism community continues to feel the increased impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we recognize the importance of communicating the latest events with all our guests. Today, the Panama City Beach City Council held an emergency meeting and voted to keep the beaches open. All beaches in Bay and Walton Counties remain open with the exception of Seaside.

We want to assure you that the health and comfort of our guests and staff is of primary importance to us. Given this is the first time our country has ever experienced an event like this pandemic, many of our guests have become anxious and as a result, we’ve experienced an upsurge in our call volume.  Please be patient with our staff as we navigate through these unusual circumstances. We will respond to you in the order we receive your request.

Our current policy for cancellation requests is to find alternative booking options should these circumstances prevent our guests from visiting. Although our beaches are open, we understand that every guest’s situation is unique. Therefore, we are handling each scenario on a case by case basis.

We take pride in providing our guests clean properties. As part of our protocols, our housekeeping team has heightened their cleaning and disinfecting procedures to maintain a healthy environment for our guests. All linens and terries are sent to a contract launderer and sterilized to hospital standards. In addition, we’ve employed supplemental cleaning tasks to ensure all surfaces are disinfected.

There are currently zero cases of the Coronavirus in Bay and Walton Counties. We will remain vigilant by staying up to date with our local health departments, as well as the CDC. For the most updated travel-related information, please refer to Centers for Disease Control at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/index.html.

We encourage you to join us in Panama City Beach!  The weather this week has been averaging 80 degrees and sunny. One way to relieve some stress is to practice ‘social distancing’ by putting your toes in the sand while listening to the waves crashing on the shore.

Thank you in advance for your patience as we navigate this challenging situation one day at a time and determine how best to continue serving our community, while maintaining our focus where it belongs: on our valued guests, our property owners and our team at Book That Condo.
