Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR RESERVATION NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. THIS IS A SKILL-BASED CONTEST. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
- Sponsor
The Carve Your Way to PCB Pumpkin Carving Contest is sponsored by Book That Condo LLC, doing business as Book That Condo, located at 13000 Hutchison Blvd Panama City Beach, FL 32413 (“Sponsor”).

- Eligibility
The contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 21 years old at the time of entry and meet the minimum age requirements for the prize reservation.
Employees of Sponsor, contest judges, and their immediate family and household members are not eligible. “Immediate family” includes spouses, parents, children, and siblings.
Limit One (1) entry per person. Entrants may not use multiple identities or accounts to exceed this limit.
- Contest Period
The contest begins October 12, 2026, and ends October 28, 2026, at 5:00PM Central Time.
All required entry materials must be received through the official entry form before the deadline. Sponsor’s entry system will serve as the official timekeeper.
The winner is scheduled to be announced October 31, 2026, subject to eligibility confirmation and acceptance of the prize.
- How to Enter
Carve a real pumpkin yourself during the contest period, then complete the official entry form at:

Provide the requested contact information and upload all three required items:
A. Progress Photo
Submit a photo showing your pumpkin while you are carving it. The photo must include a physical, handwritten card displaying:
• Your name
• “BTC Pumpkin Contest 2026”
The card must be present in the original photograph alongside the pumpkin. Text added digitally does not meet this requirement.
B. Finished Pumpkin Photo
Submit a photo of your completed pumpkin with the same handwritten card clearly visible.
C. Verification Video
Submit one continuous, unedited video lasting 15–30 seconds that clearly shows:
• Your completed pumpkin from multiple angles
• Your handwritten card
• You lifting the pumpkin’s lid to show the inside
The same pumpkin must appear in both photos and the video. The video may not contain cuts, splices, filters, or digital effects.
Accepted file types and upload limits are listed in the entry form. All uploads must be accessible and viewable by Sponsor.
Entries submitted only through social media comments, direct messages, tags, or email will not count as official entries.
No purchase, reservation, social media follow, share, friend tag, or marketing subscription is required to enter.
- Original Work and Authenticity
The submitted pumpkin must be a physical pumpkin personally carved by the entrant during the contest period. Entrants must have the rights necessary to submit their photos, video, and design.
The following are prohibited:
• AI-generated or AI-altered entry photos or videos.
• Digitally created pumpkins or digitally enhanced carving details.
• Stolen photographs, videos, or another person’s carving submitted as the entrant’s work.
• Digitally added handwritten cards or identifying text.
• Filters, compositing, retouching, or other alterations that misrepresent the pumpkin or carving process.
• False identities, fabricated progress photos, or misleading entry information.
Ordinary file compression or resizing that does not change the depicted content is permitted.
Keep the original photo and video files until the winner is confirmed. Sponsor may request those original files or written clarification to resolve a specific question about an entry’s authenticity.
Incomplete entries, unreadable uploads, or entries that do not satisfy these requirements may be disqualified.
- Content Standards
Entries must be suitable for a general audience. Entries containing hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, threatening, or unlawful content are not eligible.
Do not include another person’s private information in your submission. Obtain permission from any identifiable person appearing in your photos or video.
Entries must not infringe another party’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
- Judging and Winner Selection
Three judges selected by Book That Condo will evaluate all eligible entries using these criteria:
• Carving skill: execution, precision, detail, and craftsmanship.
• Creativity: originality, imagination, and interpretation of the design.
• Overall appearance: visual impact and presentation of the finished pumpkin.
The judges will select the entry that best demonstrates these criteria overall. Social media likes, reactions, shares, comments, and follower counts will not affect judging.
If entries are tied, the judges will compare carving skill first, followed by creativity, then overall appearance. If a tie remains, an additional judge selected by Sponsor will compare the tied entries using the same criteria and select the winner. No random drawing will be used.
Judging decisions are final and binding, subject to these Official Rules and applicable law.
- Prize
One winner will receive a complimentary three-night stay in a participating Book That Condo vacation rental in Panama City Beach, Florida.
Prize details:
• Approximate retail value: $1200.
• Eligible travel dates: 11/1/26 – 11/1/27.
• Blackout dates: none.
• Reservation must be made by: 10/27/27.
• Stay must be completed by: 11/1/27.
• Nightly rental charges covered: all three prize nights.
• Cleaning fee: included.
• Lodging taxes and mandatory booking fees: included.
• Resort, parking, wristband, and amenity fees: Resort Registration/Parking not included.
• Refundable security deposit or card authorization: $250 refundable security deposit.
Reservations are subject to availability within the disclosed eligible properties and travel dates. The stay must consist of three consecutive nights.
Transportation, meals, personal purchases, and other expenses not expressly included above are the winner’s responsibility. The winner is responsible for any applicable income taxes associated with accepting the prize.
The winner must be the primary reservation holder, meet the disclosed booking age requirement, be present for the stay, and sign the applicable rental agreement. The winner and guests must follow occupancy limits and property rules.
The prize is not redeemable for cash, may not be sold or transferred, and may not be applied to an existing reservation. Any substitution by Sponsor due to prize unavailability will be of equal or greater value.
- Winner Notification and Acceptance
Sponsor will contact the potential winner using the email address or phone number provided in the entry form on or about October 31, 2026.
The potential winner must respond within [number] calendar days of the first notification and provide any reasonably necessary eligibility and prize-acceptance documentation.
If the potential winner cannot be reached, does not respond by the stated deadline, declines the prize, or fails to meet these Official Rules, Sponsor may offer the prize to the next highest-ranked eligible entrant.
The winner’s first name, pumpkin title, and submitted entry may be announced on Book That Condo’s website and social media channels.
- Permission to Display Entries
Entrants retain ownership of their submitted content.
By entering, entrants grant Sponsor a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and share their submitted pumpkin photos and video, first name, and pumpkin title for administering, announcing, and promoting this contest, including on Sponsor’s website, social media, and contest-related email communications.
Sponsor may resize or format entry content for display, but will not alter the depicted carving or remove identifying proof in a way that misrepresents the entry.
Sponsor is not obligated to publish every entry. No additional compensation will be provided for uses permitted by this section.
- Personal Information
Contact information will be used to administer the contest, review entries, contact entrants, and fulfill the prize.
Entering does not automatically subscribe an entrant to promotional email or text messages. Any marketing enrollment will require a separate, optional consent.
Private contact details will not be included in public winner announcements.
- Technical Issues and Contest Integrity
Entrants are responsible for allowing sufficient time to complete the form and upload their files before the deadline.
To the extent permitted by law, Sponsor is not responsible for submission failures outside its reasonable control, including internet interruptions, incompatible files, or incorrect contact information supplied by an entrant.
Sponsor may disqualify entries that violate these Official Rules or involve fraud, tampering, impersonation, or interference with the contest.
If an event outside Sponsor’s reasonable control materially prevents fair administration, Sponsor may suspend or modify the affected contest process as permitted by law. Any material update will be posted on this page. Where feasible, the prize will be awarded from eligible entries using the judging criteria stated above.
- Platform Disclaimer and Release
This contest is sponsored by Book That Condo. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta, or Google.
Entrants provide their information to Sponsor through the entry form. By entering, each entrant releases Facebook, Instagram, and Meta from claims arising from this contest to the extent permitted by law.
- Acceptance of Rules
By submitting an entry, entrants acknowledge that they have read and agree to these Official Rules and that their entry information is accurate.
