12th Annual New Year's Eve Beach Ball Drop at Pier Park

FREE family celebration with live entertainment, fireworks display, 10,000 beach balls & more! Mark your calendars! Local residents and visitors alike are invited to ring in the new year at the annual Pier Park Beach Ball Drop, an unrivaled beachside celebration! The festivities begin on New Year’s Eve at 5:30 p.m. with the Family Celebration complete with live music, street vendors, stilt walkers, balloon artists, face painters and the popular countdown to 8 o’clock, featuring a family-friendly drop of 10,000 beach balls onto Pier Park Drive. Once the little ones are tucked in bed, revelers can party the night away leading up to the Midnight Celebration with live entertainment, a remarkable fireworks display and the New Year’s Eve Beach Ball Drop that features an 800-pound LED illuminated beach ball. Guests are also invited to enjoy the spectacular views from above from atop the SkyWheel! This year’s Beach Ball Drop is sponsored by Panama City Coca Cola Bottling Company United.
